Guide: Good morning everyone! Today we will walk through eight hundred years of history in just two hours. Our first stop is the cathedral, built in twelve twenty. Tourist: Is it the tallest building in the city? Guide: It was for six hundred years until the modern tower was built in the nineteen eighties. The cathedral has the second largest bell in Europe, weighing over twelve tons. Tourist: Can we go inside? Guide: Yes, entry is free but there is a small fee to climb the tower. The view from the top is spectacular, you can see the entire valley. After the cathedral, we will walk through the medieval quarter with its narrow cobblestone streets and artisan shops.
