Resetting a Forgotten Password
Beginner English listening exercise · Tech Support
Transcript
[Agent] Welcome to CloudApp support. I'm Priya. What can I help you with? [User] Hi, I can't log into my account. I think I forgot my password. [Agent] No problem at all. Let me help you reset it. Can you give me the email address associated with your account? [User] Sure, it's mike.thompson@email.com. [Agent] Thank you, Mike. I can see your account here. I'm going to send a password reset link to that email. You should receive it within a couple of minutes. [User] Okay, I'll check my inbox. [Agent] If you don't see it, make sure to check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes reset emails end up there. [User] Oh, there it is — it was in my spam folder. I'm clicking the link now. [Agent] Great. It'll take you to a page where you can create a new password. Make sure it's at least twelve characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. [User] Done! I set a new password and I can log in now. Thank you! [Agent] Wonderful! I'd also recommend enabling two-factor authentication for extra security. You can find that in your account settings under Security.
