Mike: Hey, I owe you an apology. I completely forgot about your graduation dinner last night. I feel terrible about it. Jess: I was really disappointed that you were not there. Mike: I understand, and I am so sorry. My phone died and I lost track of time with a work deadline. Jess: That is not an excuse, though. Mike: You are right, it is not. But I appreciate you being honest. Can I make it up to you? Jess: How? Mike: Let me take you out to dinner this weekend to celebrate properly. Jess: I would like that. Just do not forget this time!
