Sam: Excuse me, did you also graduate from the business school? Kate: Yes! Class of two thousand sixteen. How about you? Sam: Two thousand eighteen. I am currently working in consulting at Deloitte. Kate: Oh wonderful, I started at Deloitte too! I am now a VP of Operations at a fintech startup. Sam: That is amazing. I have been thinking about transitioning to the startup world. Any advice? Kate: Definitely network with people in the industry. Attend events like this one. Also, consider joining a startup accelerator program. Sam: That is really helpful. Thank you! Kate: Here, connect with me on LinkedIn and I will introduce you to some people in my network.
