Fixing Things at Home

Transcript

The kitchen tap has been leaking for a week now, and I finally decided to fix it myself. I watched a tutorial online and bought the necessary tools and replacement parts from the hardware store. First, I turned off the water supply. Then I unscrewed the handle and removed the old washer. The rubber had worn out completely. I installed the new washer and reassembled everything. It took about forty-five minutes, but the tap works perfectly now. I saved at least a hundred dollars by not calling a plumber.
